Important Information - 2027 Season and Grading Day - Saturday 7th November, 2026

Dear Members,

What a great season in 2026 with 7 teams making it to the grand final and with 3 Juniors and 1 Senior Team winning their grand final. Well done to all players, coaches, umpires, parents and carers.

The 2027 netball season will commence on Saturday, 13 March 2027. With the Netball World Cup being held in Sydney from 25 August to 5 September 2027, the season schedule has been brought forward.

As teams must be submitted to Gosford Netball Association by early February 2027, our grading day will be held earlier than usual, on Saturday, 7 November, 2026. Holding grading in November also avoids trying to do the grading day in the January school holiday period.  Teams will be released at the end of January, 2027.

Attendance is required for all junior and senior players, including existing members and new players wishing to join the Club. Please do not assume that a player will remain in the same team for the 2027 season.

Grading helps us place each player in the team best suited to their current skills and development. In addition to performance on grading day, the graders will consider coaches’ reports from the 2026 season and observations made throughout the year.

If a player requests placement with another player, please discuss the request with that player or their family before submitting it. Where the players are assessed at different skill levels, both players will be placed in the lower-graded team.

Please complete this 2027 Registration for Grading Day to register for the grading day.  This is a separate form to actually registering for the 2027 season.

If you are unable to attend grading day, please email nvncsecretary@hotmail.com prior to the day, advising as to why you are unable to attend.

Netball NSW will be opening registrations for the 2027 in mid November after our grading day.  We will send out further information when available.
